Bruschetta Chicken Sausage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1lb ground chicken (or turkey)

  • 1/2 cup tomato bruschetta (drained) or Sun Dried tomatoes in oil (drained and diced)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs

  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil

  • 2 tbsp chopped Italian parsley

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp dry mustard powder

  • 1 pack puff pastry

  • 1 egg beaten with a little milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425f and line two baking sheets

  2. Add the chicken, bruschetta, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, garlic, mustard, basil, and parsley to a box and mix thoroughly

  3. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions

  4. Split the pastry into 6 equal rectangles (along the fold lines if using the frozen package pastry)

  5. Roll a mixture portion into a long snake and place on pastry

  6. Roll pastry around the mixture and seal

  7. Chop the roll into 6 equal portions and add 2 vent holes in the top (repeat for each portion)

  8. Brush with egg wash and cook for 20 min
