Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • 2oz pudding rice (short grain)

  • 2oz sugar

  • 1 pint milk

  • 1/2oz butter

Instructions

  1. Wash the rice with cold water and place it into a pre-greased 3/4 pint (750ml) oven proof dish

  2. Add the milk and sprinkle the sugar over the top

  3. Break the butter into small pieces and dot throughout the mixture

  4. Cook for 2 hours at 300°F until golden brown on top (longer if you want it thicker)
