Bread Rolls

Ingredients

  • 2 x 1/4 oz (4tsp) Packets of Yeast

  • 3 1/2 cups white bread flour

  • 3 tbsp Sugar

  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 Cup Milk (at room temp)

  • 1/2 Cup boiling water

  • 1/4 cup butter (at room temp)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the milk with the water, add the sugar, yeast, and butter. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and set aside for 10 minutes

  2. In a large bowl mix the flour and salt

  3. Add the yeast mixture to the flour and mix well

  4. Knead until smooth and elastic

  5. Place in a greased bowl, cover tightly with cling film and let it rise in a warm place for 15 minutes

  6. Oil your hands and shape the dough into 14 equally sized rolls

  7. Place in 2 lightly oiled deep cake tines (space 6 rolls around edge and one in the center)

  8. Cover loosely with cling film and let it rise for another 15 minutes

  9. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes

  10. Let them cool for 10 minutes before removing from the tin
