Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1tbsp pepper

  • 40ml salt

  • 1cup brown sugar

  • Maple syrup

  • Salmon filet

Instructions

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together

  2. Roll out cling film and to size of the filet and layer 1/2 of the mix onto the cling film.

  3. Place the salmon on the mix, and spread the remaining 1/2 over the top of the salmon.

  4. Drizzle with maple syrup and wrap with cling film (a few times)

  5. Refrigerate over night


  1. 2 hours before smoking rinse off all the rub, and start soaking the planks, leave salmon on the side to dry out while the planks soak for 2 hours

  1. Pre-heat the Trager to 180f

  2. Smoke for 3 1\2 hours
