Gingerbread
Gingerbread
12 oz Plain Flour
1 tsp Bicarbonate Soda
2 tsp Ground Ginger
4 oz Margarine
6 oz Light Muscovado Sugar
4 tbsp Golden Syrup
1 Egg (beaten)
Mix the flour, bi-carb and ginger in a bowl, rub the margarine in with your fingers until it resembles breadcrumbs
Stir in the sugar, add the syrup & egg, mix together to form a smooth dough
Roll out, cut, divide into small balls on a greased baking sheet cooking for approx. 10 minute @ 180°F
